Not speaking to the speed at which Adobe does anything, but I've done a couple surveys now specifically about Photoshop on iPad and features, so they're definitely doing research to find out what people are interested in. I mostly take an iPad when traveling and Photoshop is not among the apps I have installed, although I enthusiastically gave it a try, several times. But they won’t attract many serious users to the platform with that kind of dynamics. Those who already have a subscription to the desktop Photoshop Single App (19.99 per month) and the Adobe All Apps (59.99 per month) Creative Cloud plans get access to Fresco Premium on the iPad. I don’t think they are spacing out the release of new functions based on technological constraints, rather through a marketing plan. Curves, paths and basic filters should have been there from the start and now many months after the debut we only got one of those. Adobe is adding crucial basic Photoshop on iPad features at a snail’s pace.
